I have no links to post today. I would like to inform the world, however, that the downward spiral is continuing uninterrupted. This weekend I'll be moving in with my dad and his girlfriend in La Porte, TX. I fully expect my dad to forget that I'm a 24 year old adult that does not need his life micromanaged by a parent. I think I might be able to withstand it for a month or so, though, since he does keep his fridge pretty stocked with beer, and he has a kegerator in the garage. He only seems to want to drink michelob ultra these days. It's the atkins beer. No carbohydrates, or something like that. Slightly more flavor than houston city water, slightly less than pasadena city water. I might decide to chip in some of my unemployment money so we can upgrade to a keg of shiner.
after the month is up, and the shiner is gone, you can expect me at one of your doorsteps. don't bother with the shotgun, it won't matter. ever heard of suicide by cop? I'm thinking suicide by armed/employed friend.

Tomorrow morning at 8:15 I'll have the happy privilege of meeting with a Texas Workforce Commision career counselor. Golly-gee, I just can't wait to explain to this glorified social worker the differences between an electrical engineer and an electrician, and why it wouldn't be appropriate to try place me at a company as the latter.

Why the fuck should I have to be fluent in mandarin just to be considered for a fucking software engineer job in Austin fucking Texas? This is just the kind of thing that makes me relieved I don't have ammunition that mates up to any weapon I currently have in my apartment.
What a bunch of dickheads. I'm going to apply anyway, and then I'm going to do my best to find a phone number and bug the hell out of these assholes.
