Based on that article, it looks like now is a good time to invade France. Not that there's ever really a bad one, I guess.

Could I have been wrong to dismiss the idea of a neo-nazi conspiracy presented in the movie version of The Sum of All Fears?
Today is Bastille Day in France. I am at my cubicle today, a sunday, to finish a project for some pushy little french company that claims they HAVE to have this project done by next week. I'm wondering, since they're going to be gone on vacation for the entire month, what difference does it make??
Oh, and for all you frenchmen and frenchwomen out there, July 4th is not called "National Day". I don't know which silly semi-communist european country calls their big-patriotic day "national day", but it's not us. It's "Independence day". Meaning we fought for our independence from the most powerful imperialist european nation and won it, with minimal help from the french. Poor, pathetic France.
